I have ton of pictures from March and April and just haven't had enough time to sit down and go through them all and create some posts, so here's the condensed version of what we've been up to...
We spent one Saturday at the rodeo. We did the Fun on the Farm, ate some BBQ, saw some animals and walked through the shopping area. At the rodeo, Aubrey decided that she REALLY wanted some pink cowgirl boots. (She has since gotten a pair.)
For Matt's Spring Break, we went to Louisiana to visit and meet my new nephew, Evan. Here are all of the cousins!
While we were there, we took a trip to Storyland and the Sculpture Garden in City Park.
We went to our annual neighborhood Easter Egg hunt complete with pony rides and a train ride.
We had a fun, but busy long Easter Weekend. On Friday, we went to the zoo. We saw the animals, rode the carousel, and even rode the train.
On Saturday afternoon, we went looking for bluebonnets. We drove through Chapel Hill, Independence, and Brenham and visited a lavendar farm. We didn't see as many as I thought we would on the drive, but we did find a field on our way home full of bluebonnets and got some great pictures.
The Easter Bunny came to our house and left some candy and treats for the kids. We also dyed Easter eggs that morning and had an Easter Egg hunt with our friend, Ryan.

A Month of Firsts
It's been a month of many firsts for Cooper. A week after his first birthday he took his first steps. He can take 5-6 on his own right now.
He had his one year check-up this week and Dr. Pope said we could start giving him cow's milk, and he should be off bottles by 15 months. We dropped all of his bottles this week, and it hasn't phased him at all.
Today Cooper got his first haircut. Here's the before. He was starting to get little wings on the side, and it was definitely growing long in the back.
Here's Cooper in the chair. He did a great job. He sat very still and only cried at the end when she used the clippers.
Here's the after. I can't believe how grown up my little man looks. He definitely needed it. And Big Sister got a trim, too!
Cooper's First Birthday!
We celebrated Cooper's 1st birthday with a small party at our house with some friends. We had fun, and Cooper got a collection of things to push, from a fire truck to a tractor to an ice cream truck to a train.

| He was a little hesitant to try the cake. I've honestly never seen him eat something so slowly, but he normally gets food in bite size pieces. |

Man on the Move
I feel like we've been saying for months, "Cooper's just about to crawl", "He's so close", "Any day now", well the day finally came and there is no going back! This was from December 14th. I had just made him a bottle and brought it upstairs. He was sitting in Aubrey's room, and I put it on the floor and out of nowhere he started crawling. I should have know food would have made this boy move!
A few weeks later, he started pulling up, and now he's cruising along furniture, and I've even seen him let go for a second or two...
Aubrey
spent the evening pushing Cooper around the living room on this little toy. His feet don't quite touch the ground yet.
A certain little lady on the same toy. She had just turned one in this picture!
