03/29/11

Cooper definitely seems happiest and most alert in the morning. I am starting to get more and more smiles from him. I love that sweet face!

03/28/11

It's time for some playtime on the floor. It may have be accidental, but he likes to bat at the red bird.

03/27/11

Cooper likes to look up and around when being held like this.

03/26/11

He looks like he's deep in thought, but he's really deep in sleep in Daddy's arms.

03/23/11 - Video

03/23/11

I love the way Cooper is watching Aubrey in this one. He had gotten sort of fussy so I laid him down, and she came over and started entertaining him. He calmed down and kept his eyes on her.

03/22/11

I got some better pictures on this day, but I wanted to share the sweet smile I got!

03/21/11

Cooper is starting to see more. He loves to lay on his back and watch his toys and move his legs and arms.

03/19/11

This isn't the best picture, but I love how she coordinated her accessories with her outfit. Normally she puts on as much as she can, but she picked these out all on her own.

03/18/11

I snapped this one on my phone before we headed out for a walk.

Trip to the Rodeo

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is more than calf chasing and bronco bucking. It's a huge indoor and outdoor event that lasts for 3 weeks with food, carnival rides, livestock, shopping, exhibits for kids, concerts, and the normal rodeo events. It's spread out over the grounds where the Reliant Stadium is located.

It's the only place I know where you can taste fried oreos and fried oatmeal pies!

Matt's off of school this week for Spring Break, so we thought it would be a good day to go to the rodeo. It was our first big outing as a family of four, and we all had a great time.

We had the most fun at the "Fun on the Farm" exhibit. Aubrey got a basket and had to complete different farming activities. Then she sold back her goods and got to buy a treat with the money she earned farming.

After feeding the chickens, she got to put an egg in her basket.

Even Cooper joined in the fun, while Aubrey gathered her wool from the sheep.

We went to the rodeo and visited a butterfly garden there. Aubrey made a new friend. She was so excited to hold the butterfly!

We made cupcakes for Matt's birthday...german chocolate - his favorite! Happy Birthday Daddy!

My big man! Who dat!

03/14/11

Aubrey never liked the swing very much. I'm glad we are finally getting some use out of it.

03/13/11

Aubrey spent most of the day outside with Matt. When she came in, her curls were really kicking.

03/08/11

It was a rainy, lazy day today.

03/07/11

Cooper's belly button cord fell off on Sunday, so we are finally able to give him a bath in his bathtub. This is after his bath, but this is what he did the entire time he was in the bath.
