We had such a fun and busy Easter weekend. It started on Thursday with Aubrey's Easter egg hunt at school, included a visit from Nana and Pops and the Easter Bunny, and ended with a trip to the park to see the bluebonnets. Here's some of our fun!
We went to our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Aubrey had fun and was excited to see her friend Alex from school again this year. The area for hunting was much smaller than last year and there were more parents on the lawn than kids, so Aubrey only got a few eggs. She has another Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday at school, so I'm going to try and go and get a few more pictures.
Before last year's hunt!
With Alex, this year (above) and last year (below)!
And here are a few more of Aubrey enjoying the beautiful spring weather!
On Saturday, Aubrey went to her first Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by our HOA. We've lived in our house almost 4 years and this is the first neighborhood function we've attended. There was a large Easter Bunny (who Aubrey did not want to go near), a petting zoo with goats, sheep, and chickens, (that we watched from the behind the fence), and cotton candy and snow cones (at 10 am). Aubrey even saw one of her classmates, Alex, there. Aubrey had lots of fun!
Aubrey had so much fun, she's been carrying her basket of Easter eggs around with her. So we had another Easter Egg Hunt in our front yard last night after dinner and again this morning. If only she liked picking up her toys this much!
P.S. - Check out Aubrey's new shoes - aren't they so cute?!?
