Disney Day Three - Part 1

On our 3rd day at Disney World, we finally made it to the Magic Kingdom! We woke up to a pretty foggy morning. We couldn't even see Cinderella's castle from Main Street. Matt and Pops enjoyed a round of golf.

Aubrey got some Minnie ears.

Then, Aubrey, Nana, and I had breakfast with our friends from Winnie the Pooh. Aubrey enjoyed the Mickey shaped waffles and her birthday cupcake (especially the sprinkles), but wasn't too excited when the characters got close. That's ok, Nana and I were excited to see them!

The rest of the morning at Magic Kingdom, we went on some rides (It's a Small World, Winnie the Pooh), rode the train around the whole park, explored Mickey's house and Minnie's house, and even found Pooh's honey tree.

Disney Day Two - Part 2

The rest of Day 2 we rode on a safari, took a train ride, saw lots of animals, and met some more friends at Animal Kingdom. Then we headed to Epcot for the evening to ride a few rides.

On our way to the Safari, we saw the Vine Lady...

Aubrey liked the gorillas. She immediately recognized them from her book "Goodnight Gorilla".

Waiting for the train...

We found Minnie Mouse...

...and Mickey!

We made it to Epcot, where we got to ride Spaceship Earth and Finding Nemo.

Disney Day Two - Part 1

We started Day 2 at the Animal Kingdom. In the morning, we saw a bird show, rode some rides, saw the Bug's Life show, and even met some new friends.

While Nana and Matt rode Mt. Everest...

...Aubrey and I rode a dinosaur ride.

After riding, we saw Goofy and Pluto walking down the street, so we waited in line to meet them.

Then we found Pooh and some of his friends...

Nana and Pops liked Eyeore....

Aubrey wasn't too sure about him!

Disney Day One and Aubrey's 2nd Birthday!

Our day started off early in order to catch our flight to Orlando. Our plane coming in got delayed a bit, so we spent some time waiting in the airport, which Aubrey is not good at. Once we finally made it to Orlando, we had to stand in a very long line to catch the Disney Express to the hotel. It was a Disney line, so it moved very quickly, and we were on a bus in no time. Aubrey was so excited to have her own seat!!

We checked into our beautiful resort, The Animal Kingdom Lodge, and enjoyed the view from Nana and Pops room.

Nana and Pops gave Aubrey a special birthday hat, and we headed out to our first park, Hollywood Studios.

After making our way into the park and picking up Aubrey's birthday button, Aubrey decided it was a good time for a quick nap. My poor baby was exhausted. There was already so much excitement and so many things to see, and we'd only just arrived!

After Aubrey's nap we went to see the Playhouse Disney show with all of her favorite shows (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Tigger and Pooh).

We also saw The Little Mermaid show, the Muppets 3D show, rode the Toy Story ride, and got to see the amazing Osborne Christmas lights and snow. It was a great first day!

Merry Christmas!

It's been a busy two weeks for the Maudlin family. We celebrated Aubrey's 2nd birthday in Disney World, got to see Uncle Drew graduate, practiced our "Who Dats", and celebrated Christmas. I'm going to work backwards over the next few days (or however long it takes me to get all these pictures up) and start with our Christmas first.

Aubrey had a great day and must have been a very good girl this year because Santa brought her lots of fun things. She got a kitchen, a tricycle, underwear (which she specifically wrote Santa a letter for on the Tuesday before Christmas to ask for), a baby doll and stroller, and other fun toys to play with.

Christmas Eve day...waiting for Santa!

Santa came!

Aubrey's first look at her presents - she really didn't know what to think about it all.

What turned out to be her favorite toy of the day - the stroller!

Already a pro on the tricycle
