Here's a picture Aubrey made at school a few weeks ago. It's the state flower of Texas because they were studying our state that week. I am constantly amazed at the things she's learning about at school. This week they've been talking about the solar system, and they've talked about and read books about astronauts, the moon, space shuttles, and telescopes. She made a space shuttle at school and, she even told me on Monday an interesting fact that she learned - Astronauts wear diapers.
She's been working on the letter sounds and starting to put them together. Today her teacher sent home a note letting us know that Aubrey had started working with one of the readers at school and she should start practicing reading certain words with us at home. She'll be reading to Cooper before we know it.
