Hurricane Ike Update

We survived Hurricane Ike with no damage to our house. We lost part of our fence, the contents of our refrigerator, the basketball goal, and a large branch off of our magnolia tree. Overall we were very fortunate. We are still without power. (I'm at work today.) It actually flickered a few times yesterday, but I guess they were just teasing us because it never came on. We've been fortunate to have beautiful, cool weather the past few days. A cold front blew in after the hurricane. Aubrey has been so good through all of this. I think she's at the perfect age. She doesn't watch tv, none of her entertainment requires power, she's still sleeping and eating like normal. Once we get power back, I will post some of our hurricane activities.
